Pinewood School is governed at the highest level by the Pinewood School Board of Directors. The board operates according to a set of Bylaws of the Pinewood Corporation, approved at the October 1999 regular meeting of the board. Copies are available to all members of the Corporation from the school office upon request.

The school board meets  each month when school is in session (September to June) on the second Tuesday  beginning at 6:00 p.m. The exact dates are listed on the Pinewood Calendar of Events and all members of the Pinewood Corporation are invited to attend.
