Our greatest resource, the Pinewood American International School professional faculty consists of nine elementary teachers, 13 secondary subject teachers and six specialist teachers. Additionally, Pinewood employs a Coordinator of Curriculum and Studies, an IB Coordinator at the high school level, an Activities Coordinator, and a Librarian. The Director serves as the college counselor for high school students.  Pinewood assigns teaching assistants to Early Years classes (Pre-K/K) and technology support is provided on an outsourced basis.

The full-time staff is very diverse with teachers primarily from the United States, as well as from Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries.  The combined educational experience of the faculty is an average of ten + years of teaching, with the majority of these years spent within an international school environment.  The faculty is also well-educated, having received the following degrees: five Doctorates; five Masters Degrees; and all with Bachelors Degrees.
