All school fees are set annually by the Pinewood School Board. All fees are expressed in Euros.

Fees may be paid in cash or by cheque payable to “Pinewood Schools of Thessaloniki” at the school. Fees may also be paid by direct deposit or transfer to the following school bank accounts:

- Copies of deposit slips or transfer documents indicating students’ names should be sent or faxed to the school.
- Please be advised that the Registration fee cannot be incorporated into any of the available payment options.

PAYMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE

School Fees
For enrollment, each student must pay the following charges and fees:
- a) Pre-enrollment Fee: a non-refundable payment, but deductible from the next year’s Tuition Fee if paid on time. Such Enrollment Fee shall be payable by 30 April of the prior school year. If not paid by the due date, the Pre-enrollment Fee shall not be deductible from tuition. The Pre-enrollment Fee shall be refundable only in the case of denial of enrollment.
- b) Tuition Fee.
- c) Capital Fund Fee: applicable to new students being enrolled in the School. Capital Fund Fee for new kindergarten students shall be one-third of the approved Capital Fund Fee. A new student enrolling in Grades 1-12 shall pay the Capital Fund Fee in full. If any Capital Fund Fee was paid in the past, then the difference of the already paid amount and the current Capital Fund Fee shall be paid.
- d) Transportation Fee: payment by students who opt for daily school transport and, given the outsourced nature of such services, the Transportation Fee shall be non-refundable.
- e) IB Fees: applicable to students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program.
- f) Any other School Fees as proposed by the Director and approved by the Board.
All School Fees shall be approved by the Board by 1 March of the prior school year.
Schedule of Payments
- a) The total amount due, after deductions, for each student shall be made either in full or in installments, as follows:
- i) in full: payment shall be made by September 30.
- ii) in installments: a first payment equal to one-third shall be made by September 15; a second payment, equal to one-third, shall be made by December 15; and the balance shall be made by March 15.
- iii) The school reserves the right to demand full payment of tuition and fees prior to formal enrollment of the student(s).
The Capital Fund Fee and the Transportation Fee shall be made in full with the September payment.
Discounts
- a) Payment for School Fees made in full by September 30 shall receive a 5% discount on Tuition Fees;
- b) When there are two or more children from the same family enrolled in the School at the same time, a 5% discount on Tuition Fees shall be applied to the second and a 10% discount to each additional child’s Tuition Fee.
Collections
- a) Parents and/or legal guardians are required to ensure due and punctual payment of all School Fees in accordance with the chosen schedule of payments issued by the School’s accounting office at registration. Receipts will be issued by the school's accounting office in a timely manner for the amount received from each payer.
- b) In case of late payment or nonpayment, the overdue amounts shall be charged interest to the extent permitted under applicable laws and/or regulations of the Hellenic Republic.
- c) Students shall not be re-enrolled unless ALL outstanding fees and tuition are paid in full. Payments, as made, will be applied to balances in order from overdue to current.
Refunds/Withdrawals:
- a) If a student attends 20 or more school days in a given semester, the payer is responsible for paying for School Fees for the entire semester.
- b) In case of withdrawal, any amounts due by the student shall be paid prior to the issuing of any report cards or transfer certificates to the student or the parent.
Scholarship Programs and Other Financial Assistance
Scholarship and other financial assistance programs shall be approved separately by the Board.
Acknowledgement
Upon registration for each school year, each parent and/or legal guardian of each student shall acknowledge in writing his/her awareness of this Payment Policy. Unless such signed acknowledgement is provided to the Administrative office no student shall be considered enrolled in the School. Such acknowledgment shall be included in the registration form, shall be dated and bear the name and signature of the parent and/or legal guardian and shall read as follows: “Upon signing of this registration form, I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the attached terms and conditions of the Payment Policy of the School, and I agree to abide by the terms and conditions therein, including but not limited to the late or non-payment interest charge to the extent permitted under applicable laws and/or regulations of the Hellenic Republic.
