The Pinewood English Language Center is an integrated English language instruction program that features continuous language immersion experiences for Kindergarten - Grade 6 students from the larger community. Students will be immersed in a unique English Language learning experience focusing on creative self-expression, interactive learning and fun at all levels. Courses will begin in mid-September 2010.
The Pinewood English Language Center provides:
- Excellent Teaching Standards: Students will be taught exclusively by qualified and experienced native English teachers from the U.S.A. and the U.K. with local and international experience
- Personalized Learning: The program will feature small classes to ensure individual attention
- Unique Educational Environment: Students will learn In an English-speaking environment with specially-designed instruction and an interactive classroom environment that encourages self-expression

Q. How many times a week do classes meet?
A. Depending on the student's level, classes usually meet 1 - 1.5 hours 2-3 times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Q. In what language do the lessons take place?
A. All lessons take place in English by experienced native English-speaking teachers. Teachers also adapt the lesson to the student's level.
Q. Are grammar and vocabulary taught?
A. Yes, grammar and vocabulary are taught and learned through hands-on experiences and leveled readers (short stories, literature, etc.).
Q. Where are classes held?
A. Classes are held on Pinewood School's campus in Thermi (next to Express Service).
