Important Information for Greek Citizens
In accordance with Greek legislation, students who hold only Greek citizenship and wish to apply for admission to Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 9 must first obtain an exemption from the Hellenic Ministry of Education in order to attend an international school.
This exemption application should be completed with the guidance and support of Pinewood before beginning the admissions process. Students are pre-accepted to Pinewood prior to the start of the exemption application process.
Please note that the processing time is approximately 4–6 weeks from the date of submission to the Hellenic Ministry of Education, which typically begins in June of the applying year (e.g., June 2026 for a September start).
