Student Eligibility

Show your interest in becoming a Pinewoodian! Schedule a visit to tour the campus and request a meeting with our admissions team to learn more about the admissions process.

You will receive a confirmation email from our team with your scheduled appointment. If your requested time is unavailable, you will be asked to reschedule.

Once you have a confirmed appointment with our admissions team, you will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions officer for a school tour and/or an online introduction to Pinewood.

Following the campus tour or online meeting, you will receive a personalized admissions guide tailored to your child’s learning needs. This guide will outline requirements for admission to the grade level you are interested in, the required documents, and instructions on how to begin the application process.

Please visit our Parent Portal to create your account and start your child's admissions application. Be sure to select the appropriate school year for your application and complete the form thoroughly with yours and child's personal information.

Note: Submitting an admissions application does not guarantee your child’s placement and does not indicate acceptance. All applicants are required to complete the full admissions process.

In the online Parent Portal, upload requested documents in the Attachments section of the application form. Please make sure to check the Admissions Guideline and our Pre-Admission Eligibility for grade-level specific requirements and documents to complete your admissions application.

Please note: Your application will not be considered complete until the school receives all requested documents and completed admissions application.

Non-EU Citizens: You are required to have a valid residency permit or a visa prior to applying to Pinewood. Your residency permit/visa  must not be within 1 year (365 days) of expiration.

For Grade 6–11 applicants, all prospective students are required to demonstrate a certain level of English language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This proficiency will be assessed through the school-administered admissions test.

The admissions test will be conducted at the Middle & High School Campus; however, families who are unable to visit the campus may request remote testing.

Please note that your child’s admissions application must be fully completed and submitted before an admissions test can be scheduled.

As of January 2025, the admissions application fee for all students PreK-Grade 12 is 90 euros per student. 

How to Pay Admission Application Fee

You can make payments via wire transfer to any of the school’s official bank accounts found in our Tuition Page.

IMPORTANT INFO: in the “Notes”, “Reference” or “Comments” section of the bank wire transfer, please include:

• "Application Fee"
• First name and last name of the student(s)

This helps us accurately allocate the payment to the correct student(s) and ensure a smooth and timely processing of your application.

To pay with Credit Card: Email our accounting department accounting@pinewood-school.gr for a secure payment link to complete your transaction online.

Your admissions application is considered complete once the school has received all of the following:

• All requested documents

• Admissions test results (required only for Grades 6–12)

• Admissions application fee of €90 per student (non-refundable)

After application reviews, you may be asked to provide supplemental documents before continuing onto the interview stage.

EY/Elementary Applicants

All prospective families for Pre-K to Grade 5 are required to have an intake interview (in-person or online) with the Early Years/ Elementary Principal before a final decision as to their application is made. In the interview, the Principal will meet with both the parents and the children.

Middle/High School Applicants

Eligible Grade 6–12 applicants will be invited to proceed to the interview stage. The prospective student will participate in a 20-minute meet-and-greet with the Middle/High School principals, during which a final decision regarding admission to Pinewood will be determined.

We encourage students to complete this step individually, allowing them to showcase their unique personality and educational goals.

The final decision of acceptance is made once all steps of the admissions process have been completed and the student is deemed eligible.

Accepted day student applicants will receive an official letter of acceptance from our admissions team, which will provide detailed instructions on finalizing enrollment for the academic year to which they have been admitted. This will include tuition requirements, consent forms, school handbooks, and academic calendars.

For students who applied for the dormitory option, the final decision is made by the Boarding Committee following a final interview with the committee.
