Reunions

Past Reunions

Thank you for being part of our 75th Anniversary, Alumni & Friends Heritage Night!

It meant the world to welcome so many of you back, to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the legacy and future of our school.

Our celebration was truly unforgettable, filled with laughter, music, heartfelt memories, and meaningful conversations. Your enduring love and connection to Pinewood inspire us every day and remind us why our work matters so deeply.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our three distinguished speakers, who shared powerful reflections on Pinewood’s journey through the decades:
– Ismene Ioannidou, beloved Pinewood teacher, 1954–1966, 1969–1986
– Peter Baiter, Pinewood’s longest-serving Director, 1982–2004
– Peter Custer, proud Pinewood student, 1956–1964

We’re also deeply grateful to Fotis Fotiadis (’78) and his band, The Talking P.I.G.S., for their unforgettable live performance and to our incredible student volunteers, who helped document alumni stories and brought the spirit of today’s Pinewood to life.

One of the most moving moments of the evening was the official naming of our Elementary gymnasium as The Peter Baiter Gymnasium, honoring Mr. Baiter’s 22 years of outstanding leadership and his lasting impact on our community.
