FAQ – ATHENA ENROLLMENT PORTAL

Q: I forgot my password, what do I do now?

A: You can set a new password by following the below steps:

  1. Connect to the Pinewood parent portal (https://parent.pinewood-school.gr) using the latest version of your internet browser  (MS Internet Explorer is not supported) from any device (pc, notebook, tablet, mobile phone)

  2. Select option Sign in / Είσοδος and you will be redirected to a page where you can enter your credentials username, password. Click on I forgot my password / Ξέχασα τον κωδικό μου below the password field

  3. On the new page enter your email and then Submit / Καταχώρηση – as a result you will receive an email to this mail account with instructions on how to set your new password

After that, visit the parent portal and click on Sign in / Είσοδος. Fill in your username /email and below the new password that you set.

Note: Next to the password field there is a small icon like an eye – by pressing it continuously you can see what the hidden password characters you typed in order to correct any misspelling errors


Q: I created an account but now I can’t  sign in and I am sure I have the correct password

A: Try to use an alternative browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, MS Edge) to resolve the issue. We highly recommend to use the Chrome browser. You can also reset your password by clicking the forgot my password button. If you are still not able to access then please try to clear the cache of your browser. 


Q:
The system is giving an error, what should I do?

A: Please contact an administrator at [email protected] 


Q: I am a parent at school, how will I see the portal

Click here to go to the parent portal. You need to create a password by clicking on the email that you received through [email protected] with the title Pinewood College – Account Activation / Ενεργοποίηση Λογαριασμού.


Q:
I have created an account, but how do I see my application

A: Click here to go to the sign in page and use your email and password used initially. Then you click on the “Applications/Requests” tab and you click on the button “New”. Then you click on “Pinewood Enrollment Application”.


Q:
Can I change my consent later on?

A: Yes, you can change the consent any time during the academic year. Please contact our Data Protection Officer for more details, [email protected]


Q:
The other parent is not our child’s guardian and I do not have any of his contact details as of now, can I proceed with the enrollment process?

A: Since we need to have both parent’s consent for the admissions we will require proof of divorce status and/or guardianship status and any supporting document to prove that you have the right to decide for the student’s enrollment. 


Q: I am using the Sign in Button on the top right corner on pinewood’s website but i cant log in to see my application.

A: This is for existing parents and is for another platform. Please Click here to sign in to see your application.


Q: I logged in but I cannot find the APPLICATIONS/REQUESTS menu.

A:  Use an alternative browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, MS Edge) to resolve the issue.


Q: I can not see my child

FAQ – SCHOOL BUS APPLICATION

Q: When is the enrollment application completed?

A: After you submit the enrollment application, a school bus application is automatically generated by the system and related to the submitted enrollment application. You need to submit this school bus application as well, even if you will not use the bus services.

After submitting the bus school application, an approval request is automatically created and assigned to the other guardian of the child (not the one submitting the application). The other guardian can then connect to the parent portal with his/her personal system account, and accept or reject the submitted enrollment application for the child. 

Q: What do I need to select in the school bus application?

A: First of all you need to select if you want to use the school bus services or not.

In case you select not to use the bus services, you don’t need to do anything else – just submit the application.

If you select to use the bus services, you must select one or both the desired destination(s). For each destination, you must select one of the available bus routes and optionally a desired bus stop.

Q: Do I need to select both school bus destinations?

A: If you select to use the bus services, you must select one or both school bus destinations (Arrival, Departure) by clicking the corresponding option. For each destination, you must select one of the available bus routes and optionally the desired bus stop from the available bus stops for the selected bus route.

Q: My bus stop is not available, what do I select?

A: For each destination, you first select one of the available bus routes according to the description and your desired bus stop location. From the list of the available bus stops for the selected bus route, you can search your preferred bus stop location from the description. 

If you think that your bus stop is not found in the list, you can either try a different bus route selection or you can click the option “Can’t find my bus route stop”. After that you will be able to submit the school bus application.

Q: Save and Submit options are not available in the school bus application

A: This happens if you haven’t selected all the necessary information in the school bus application, for example use or not use bus services, one or both bus route destination(s), bus route for checked destination and bus stop or “Can’t find my bus route stop” in case you don’t find your preferred bus stop

FAQ: ATHENA ADMISSIONS PORTAL

Q: To apply for my second child do I need to create a new application with a different password?

A: Use the same login account as a parent, connect to the parent portal and submit a new application for the other child – no need to create a new account.

Q: What if I do not have a second report card or any of the necessary documents?

A: To be able to submit your application please upload any other document on this field

Q: What is the 60 proof of payment?

A: 60 euros is a fee required to be paid upon submission of the application. Please upload the proof of payment. The fee will be deducted from the tuition once you join. The fee is not transferable to other students and will not be refunded in case you will not join. If the school does not accept for any reason the fee will be refunded. 

Q: What do you mean by residential – dorm?

A: Our school is an international dormitory school. We do offer residential units to students who can live on campus. This is an additional cost of 11.600 euros per year. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Q: I have applied for the admissions, but I am also waiting for the scholarship application decision. I have paid 60 euros. In case of not acceptance am I going to get the admissions fee of 60 euros back?

A: Yes, in case you will not be awarded any scholarship and you do not want to continue with the enrollment process, we will refund the amount. 

Q: What do you mean with students ID

A: The residence ID or passport of the student if he/she has any

Q: I can not attach the documents, the system is not giving this option

Q: I have more documents to upload, what i will need to do
