World Food Day - Tuesday, 16 October
We will use today to explain the importance of #ZeroHunger to our children. Classes can look forward to scavenger hunts, seed planting, sauce-making and more! We are asking families to help with the activities by donating some food. Our 4th and 5th graders will be preparing spaghetti meals to donate to an NGO.We need the 4th and 5th grade families to send in cooked spaghetti and ingredients for the sauce (tomatoes, onions, oregano, basil, etc.) Please send these items in Tuesday morning. You are, of course, invited to come and participate Tuesday afternoon in the festivities. We will begin around 13:00. Thank you as always for your support and participation in creating a Pinewood community.
