Our AP Results

Since reintroducing the Advanced Placement program in the 2023–2024 academic year, Pinewood has experienced exceptional growth in both participation and performance. In just two years, the number of AP students has increased from 22 in 2024 to 86 in 2025, and further to 184 in 2026, while the total number of exams has grown from 24 to 172, and now to 341.

This rapid expansion has been matched by strong academic outcomes. The number of students achieving scores of 3 or higher increased from 15 in 2024 to 68 in 2025, with the overall success rate rising from 68.18% to 79.07%. At the same time, the average score improved from 3.0 to 3.1, demonstrating consistent performance even as the program expanded significantly.

These results are particularly notable given the scale and pace of growth—from just 2 subjects in 2024 to a broad and diverse offering by 2025, and continued expansion into 2026. Students are not only accessing more opportunities, but are also succeeding across a wide range of disciplines.

Together, these outcomes reflect the strength of Pinewood’s academic vision, the dedication of its students, and the commitment of its teachers. AP at Pinewood is rapidly establishing itself as a dynamic and high-achieving program—one that challenges students, supports their growth, and prepares them confidently for university and beyond.
