AP Exams for External Students

Submit the following documents and information to the AP Coordinator:

• A signed statement from the student's current school verifying enrollment as a high school student
• A copy of the student's National ID or Passport
• A list of AP exams you wish to take (e.g., AP Biology, AP Calculus AB)
• Contact details, including:
  • Parent/guardian phone numbers
  • Student’s phone number
  • Home address
• Parental Consent Statement, depending on location:
  • If you live outside Greece: Submit a signed parental statement verified by an official authority with the following text:
    • We, the undersigned, hereby give our consent for our child, [Student's Name], to travel to Thessaloniki, Greece, and take the AP exams at Pinewood American International School. We acknowledge and accept full responsibility for his/her accommodation and transportation to and from the school during this time, and further acknowledge and agree that our child shall not be entitled to any coverage under Pinewood’s insurance policies and shall have no right to assert or pursue any claim to insurance through the school.

    • We further understand and agree that Pinewood American International School bears no responsibility for visa applications, documentation, or related matters, and will provide no assistance in this regard.

  • If you live in Greece: Εμείς, οι υπογεγραμμένοι, παρέχουμε με το παρόν τη συγκατάθεσή μας ώστε το παιδί μας, [Όνομα Μαθητή], να ταξιδέψει στη Θεσσαλονίκη, Ελλάδα, και να συμμετάσχει στις εξετάσεις AP στο Pinewood American International School. Αναγνωρίζουμε και αποδεχόμαστε την πλήρη ευθύνη για τη διαμονή και τη μεταφορά του/της από και προς το σχολείο κατά το διάστημα αυτό. Επιπλέον αναγνωρίζουμε και συμφωνούμε ότι το παιδί μας δεν δικαιούται οποιαδήποτε κάλυψη από τις ασφαλιστικές πολιτικές του Pinewood και δεν έχει κανένα δικαίωμα να διεκδικήσει ή να επιδιώξει οποιαδήποτε απαίτηση για ασφάλιση μέσω του σχολείου.

Accommodation status: Clearly indicate whether you are entitled to testing accommodations and submit relevant documentation as early as possible.

Once your documents are reviewed and approved, our AP Coordinator will send you bank account details.

To complete your registration:

• Deposit the total amount based on the number of exams.
• In the payment reference, write: "[Student’s Full Name] – AP Exams"

Note: Your registration will be considered complete only once documents are approved and the payment is received by the school.

Fees apply for every AP exam the student registers for and will vary depending on the date registration is completed.

Complete Registration Before November 10:

• €229 per exam
• Includes: €129 College Board exam fee + €100 administrative/testing fee

Complete Registration November 10 – March 1:

• €269 per exam
• Includes: All fees above + €40 late registration fee

Examples

• 2 exams registered before November 10:  2 × €229 per exam = €458
• 3 exams registered after November 10: 3 × €269 per exam = €807

If a student transfers out after paying for an exam at Pinewood, the exam fee will be refunded directly to the family, as exam fees cannot be transferred between schools.

Please note:  Each refund request is subject to a €50 administrative fee per course, as well as any applicable bank charges.
