Assessment Center

Assessment services are provided with parent/guardian consent. Findings are interpreted in the context of the student’s language background, culture, educational history, and emotional functioning.
Assessment findings may contribute to understanding learning, behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs and may support referrals for formal medical or clinical diagnosis when appropriate.
Assessment reports are shared with parents/guardians and relevant school professionals directly involved in supporting the student’s educational needs. Information is shared on a need-to-know basis in order to ensure appropriate educational planning and support.
Please note that assessments conducted at Pinewood are educational, not clinical, and are intended to guide school-based support, accommodations, and learning recommendations. For further clinical or diagnostic exploration, families may be referred to qualified external centers.
