A review of the Host Country Studies Trip to the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art

For students of: Art through the Ages II -Dance Elective – Visual Arts Elective

“A Memorable Day … full of Art and creativity”

Our students had the chance to spend a whole day in the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art this past week. They were guided through the IOLAS Exhibition by Mrs. Mavini, a Museum Educator, and their teachers, Ms. Kapanidou, Ms. Pagidou and Mrs. Spiliakou.

They witnessed the “making” of the “Inspire 2018” Exhibition that opens there on the 8th of December, while exploring the Exhibition “Face the Strange” by acclaimed photographer Christopher Makos. We were honored to have Christopher Makos as one of our speakers at this year’s Pinewood Scholars Series, too!

Students were involved in a holistic, educational approach to Art, through both Museum and Classroom experiences – we can’t wait until our next trip.
