ART PROJECT Grade 3

Grade 3 art class just finished their unit: Drawing with charcoal.
With Ms. Ornella they began by discussing and exploring what charcoal was and its mark making qualities. As a final project to the unit they looked at a collection of video recordings of artist Heather Hansen, dancing with charcoal. They discussed how they could use their bodies as a drawing tool to make drawings inspired by movement and then practised it themselves!
