Earth Hour

Post

However few have asked “What can we do in order to save our home, which offers us the most beautiful things in the world like water, sun and sea?” From observing the planet, we can understand the main reason for life and its colors. We live in a country where outside interests threaten our every day existence. I believe that the time has come for those living in Greece to show strength to the world that it can still fight for environmental issues even though it has financial problems. In one small way, we can do this by participating in Earth Hour.  Earth Hour does not mean a black out. It is a voluntary action in order to show our commitment to change that benefits the planet. It is a valuable opportunity to take action for the environment and to show our motivation to the planet on which we live. By switching our lights off, we can celebrate the Earth and we give a respite to the planet that is destroyed every day by people. The time has come to put forth our strongest efforts in Greece’s participation in Earth Hour 2012. Earth Hour 2012 will be held on Saturday March 31 between 8.30PM and 9.30PM in our local time zone.  Simply turn out your lights during this time and celebrate the planet that gives us life.

SUPPORT YOUR PLANET EARTH!

SO, SWITCH OF YOUR LIGHTS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 31 FROM 20:30 TO 21:30!
