Faculty Spotlight

These same goals are applied to Mr. Michalaros’ IB Visual Art course at Pinewood. His students, many of whom volunteered their time at the Kodra exhibition, gain valuable insights into the art world through Mr. Michalaros, a working artist himself, and his engagement with the artistic communities of Thessaloniki, Athens and Chicago.

Mr. Michalaros holds a B.A. in painting from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an M.A. in Fine Arts with emphasis in Art and Technology from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the European Animation Masterclass from the International Academy of Media and Art in Halle, Germany.
