Grade 4 had a brilliant day at Bambola beach last week! We swam, played frisbee, beach volleyball and football, we had pizza and sunbathed. The field trip was a great success, albeit our concerns for chilled temperatures. And in the words of Jacques Cousteau: the sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.
Student energy was high as our 5th graders prepared for their journey to WE Sports and the Museum of Illusions. They arrived at WE Sports and the kids exhibited great excitement to rollerblade, try out skateboarding, archery, rock climbing, and some hula hoop tumbling! The students were thrilled, and mid-morning snacks provided them with the extra energy they needed to take risks and learn new skills! Back on the bus, they headed to the Museum of Illusions. After a scenic port-side lunch, they marched to the Museum of Illusions for some mind-blowing optical illusions that produced wonder. “How does that work?” and “How can that be?” These were the words that displayed student curiosity!
