Grade 10 Charity Drive

In the fourth quarter of the 2014 -2015 school year, the Grade 10 students were inspired, with motivation from their advisor, Dr. Squires, to organize a community charity project. The students appealed to the community and collected clothes, toys, school supplies, and food items from May 25th – June 6th for ‘The Network Community’. We would like to thank our class advisor, Dr. Squires for contacting the organisation as well as all students in Grade 10 who contributed to the promotion of our charity project. Most importantly, we would like to thank all students, teachers and parents who brought items into school. The response was overwhelming, so much so that the organization had to make two trips to carry all of the donated items to those in need.

All the items that we collected will go to help families in need here in Thessaloniki.Grade 10 students had a lot of fun doing this project and we hope to do more charity drives in our future years at Pinewood.
