On November 5, students came to school dressed up in a spooky best costume and participated in many halloween activities that pinewood’s teachers have prepared for the day. They played Halloween theme games and had a memorable day with dance, music, movies and treats. Altogether, it was a day packed with fright-ful fun!
Halloween is a beloved North American holiday originally remembering saints, martyrs and all the departed as well as probably being derived from autumn harvest festivals. On the 31st of October, children from throughout North America dress in costume and go “Trick or Treating” visiting the households in their neighborhoods to receive “treats” candy and other sweets.
