IB ART Pottery Workshop

“ΙΒ 1 & 2 Art students and their art teacher Ms. Kapanidou had the pleasure of attending a pottery workshop for two consecutive Fridays at Slow Living Greece. There Christine Willis taught them the whole process of making a pot using the traditional coiling technique as well as painting methods and the preparation for firing in a kiln. This was part of their art assignment which aimed to combine a traditional craft and its history, with contemporary art and producing a thought-provoking narrative. The final examples will be exhibited in the IB Art exhibition in March. Stay tuned!”
