Meet the New Student Teachers!
September 18, 2015

Emily Lang:
Emily is in her senior year at Northern Arizona University. She is
studying elementary education and working
towards her bachelor’s degree. She has been on the Dean’s List the
last two years at NAU. Emily grew up in Northern Vermont and moved with
her family to Arizona a week after graduating high school and loves the
“dry heat”.
If she is not at work or school you can find her
enjoying time with family on the lake, enjoying the outdoors, at the
movies, or curled up with a good book. Emily has always known that she
wanted to work with children no matter what platform it involved but
realized quickly that teaching was her calling. Emily is firm believer
in the theory that children don’t care how much you know, until they
know how much you care. As a future teacher her plan is to motivate her
student’s by capturing their hearts and imaginations. Emily is looking
forward to her time here at Pinewood and experiencing Greece!
Chloe Stinson:
Chloe is a senior at Northern Arizona University working towards her
bachelor’s degree in elementary and
special education. She was born in California, but have lived in
Arizona for most of her life. Chloe has wanted to be a teacher for as
long as she can remember; but not just any teacher. Chloe wants to work
with the U.S. Department of Defense and teach on American military bases
in European countries.
She hopes to one day be a first grade
teacher doing what she loves best; helping students to grow and learn.
Chloe loves to travel internationally, and hopes to one day bring her
cultural experiences into the classroom to teach her students what this
world has to offer. During her spare time Chloe loves to be surrounded
by family and friends, dance, and cook. She is so excited to be a part
of the Pinewood family and can’t wait to work with the students and
staff here!
