Pinewood’s Grade 10 World History students participated in a day-long student-driven event, sponsored by the US cable network, CNN, to raise awareness against modern slavery. School students worldwide were invited to start a Freedom chain on social media, raising awareness and prompting action against any form of human trafficking. Pinewood students could not possibly be absent from such an effort! Through their inspirational videos, they pledge to take a stand against the abuse of children, women, and men all over the world.
