P.E. Winter Olympics

A few days prior to the opening celebration for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, we took the opportunity to educate our students during their P.E. classes. Students studied the Olympic flag and we spoke about the colours of the Olympic rings and what they represent. They recognized and named most of the winter sports and they were able to view some of the sports equipment like ski boots, skis, ice hockey sticks and ice skating shoes. We look forward to watching the Winter Olympics, and as always, encouraging our students to participate in winter sports!
