Pinewood IT classes participate in the Hour of Code

Post

The Hour of Code is a U.S. national campaign to introduce 10,000,000 students to computer science. It took place during Computer Science Week (December 9-15) where high school students participated in online tutorials and activities involving writing code. Initially students watched a very inspiring video provided by Code.org and then each student followed individual tutorials with headphones. Some students chose to program an Angry Birds game and others chose to create an app for mobile phones. Many of our Pinewood students completed tutorials successfully and received Certificates through e-mail.
