Pinewood participation – Junior Achievement Greece Virtual Business competition

Our G9-12 Entrepreneurship Class is participating in this year’s Junior Achievement Greece Virtual Business competition, with our business idea B.A.D. Buyers And Deliverers.

BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

Supporting the local community and using the ideas of the sharing economy sit at the heart of this business project that our students envisioned. Our platform aims to bring together Buyers and Deliverers in order to optimize speed, ease and access to delivery (on the part of the Buyers/Customers), while helping people obtain a source of income that doesn’t require any particular specialization and offers flexible working hours (on the part of the Deliverers). In doing so, we aim to support the local businesses improve their revenue by giving them access to sales that would otherwise be impossible. You can see a quick slide on this below.

Click above to register your vote in support of our idea. The entries of all virtual business ideas are in alphabetic order and you need to scroll down a bit and find B.A.D., select and vote! Our goal is to get the first prize on the video competition and we are truly deserving of this as our G9 students Leah Villalba, Max Bernard and Cleo Gikas created this video from scratch, including the sketches and animations! Special thanks to our mentors from Ideas Forward, Dimitris Kourtesis and Nikos Tsoniotis.
