Pinewood Students to Participate in European Youth Parliament

We are proud to announce that two Pinewood students, Maria and Galini Poimenidou, both of the class of 2016, attended the 30th
Annual National Selection Conference for the European Youth Parliament
in December. Both were successful in attaining a place in the
conferences’ top 30. From a total of 116 participants, Maria was
selected as one of the 7 top students who will represent Greece in the
78th International Session of the European Youth Parliament in Smyrna, during the spring of 2015. Galini came in 12th
place, which means she will be attending future conferences and is a
substitute for a possible absence from the National Conference.
Congratulations to both girls! We are proud of your accomplishment as
representatives of Pinewood!
