Send-a-song Holiday Greetings at Pinewood

On Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13, Pinewood was filled with upbeat live music during morning breaks and lunch breaks! Student performers from Grades 10 and 11 delivered high-energy Christmas messages as part of the “Send-a-Song” Holiday Greetings organized by the Secondary Student Council. Four teams of student singers brought musical Christmas greetings to Pinewood students, teachers and staff. The entire school community enjoyed songs performed by student singers Katerina Eleftheriadou and Apollinaria Chikunova, Pamela Aspi and Holly Kay, Marco Bustamante and Juan Nieves, and Slavena Petkova and Nikoletta Savvidou. Advance orders for “Send-a-Song” greetings were taken by student sales reps. Kostas Kehriotis, Martin Mihaylov, Aristotelis Leventidis and Allan Pilato, promotional posters for “Send-a-Song” greetings were created by student artists Ioannis Emmanoulidis and Tony Pilato, and paper cards to accompany the songs were designed by Ms. Stephanie Karamanolis.
