Mrs. Meaghan Conner

Hello! My name is Meaghan Conner and I’m from Eastern Canada. My family moved around a lot while I was growing up, and I continued living a nomadic adventure until settling here in beautiful Thessaloniki in 2017. I’ve been involved in Teaching & Learning in various capacities for the past 25 years. I hold a BA (Theatre) from Dalhousie University, a BEd (Primary/Junior Education) and MEd (Society, Culture & Literacies) from the University of Ottawa. I’ve taught preschool, elementary and middle school classes as well as adults in Canada, Korea, Egypt and Greece. I love being in a classroom! One of my greatest accomplishments was establishing an elementary visual arts program at an international school in Cairo. My hobbies include crafting and quilting, and I love going on weekend adventures with my husband and our daughter. I’ve been working at Pinewood for the past two years as an Elementary Aide/ Substitute Teacher and am very excited to be joining the Pinewood Elementary team full-time in September 2021 as a Grade One Teacher.
