Ms. Alina Tavlaridou

Ms. Tavlaridou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece and joined Pinewood in 1997. She holds a DEA Sciences du Langage et de la Communication – option Didactique des Langues, Maîtrise Lettres Modernes and Maîtrise de Langue et de Littérature Françaises from the Université Lille, France & Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. At Pinewood, Ms. Tavlaridou teaches French in the Secondary World Languages Department. She also serves as the IB Examiner for French B SL/HL, the Grade 9A advisor, Chair of the World Languages Department and Co-Chair of the World Languages and Cultures Action Plan Team. In the past, she has also contributed to school life as Student Council Advisor, DELF examiner at the French Institute and as a Member of the National Honors Society Faculty Council. Ms. Tavlaridou is also a member of the National Council of Teachers of French (Association des Professeurs Licenciés de Français A.P.L.F.)
