Ms. Ioanna Koumpli

Born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece, Ms. Ioanna Koumpli joined Pinewood in 2018 as the EYP and Elementary PE teacher. Ms. Ioanna Koumpli holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the Department of Sports Science at the Aristotle University and a master’s degree in Recreation and Sports Management and Tourism from the same department. From an early age, she has actively been involved with a variety of sports and taken parts in clubs, competitions, and charity events. Ioanna has developed a genuine interest in the balance of mind, body and soul and has completed several training sessions in bringing students closer to sports and the true values of sportsmanship. Her passions revolve around similar fields as she engages in activities such as rock climbing, rafting, hiking, coaching and being a referee.
