Dr. Ourania Chatsiou

I love teaching English Language & Literature for the IB Diploma and for the rest of Secondary School at Pinewood. My first degree was in English Lang/Lit at Aristotle University, here in Thessaloniki. My academic expertise is in English Literature and both of my postgraduate degrees (MA – University of York & PhD – Swansea University) are on British Romanticism. Between 2005 and 2012, I held Associate Tutor and Associate Lecturer posts at the English Department of Swansea University. After spending almost a decade in the UK, I decided to return to my home country, where, amongst other teaching posts, I worked as an English Lang./Lit. teacher at Athens College (HAEF) and a p/t Associate Tutor at the English Department of Athens University.
