Early Years / Elementary Principal

Pinewood seeks an Early Years/Elementary Principal beginning in the 2023-24 academic year. The EY/Elementary Principal is an integral leader for the academic, instructional, and organizational direction of Pinewood’s Early Years Program (PreK-K) and Elementary School (Grades 1- 6). This role serves as the school’s advocate and works with all stakeholders to create a common vision for the school that best positions the school for success and engages students and their community. The Principal also works with others to develop and carry out a school improvement plan to continually improve student achievement and build a talented team to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

LEARNING SPECIALIST - Maternity leave cover

Pinewood seeks a dynamic Learning Support teacher beginning at the beginning of April 2023 as maternity leave cover. As per Greek Ministry of Education requirements, the chosen candidate must hold the same degree as the teacher for whom s/he will take the place. Thus, the candidate preferably holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from a Greek university.

Pinewood is looking for energetic and motivated substitute teachers to work with students at the middle and high school levels in an “on-call” basis in the following areas: English, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies.

Substitute teachers are called the night before to come the next day for a day of teaching. In some cases, the school calls in the morning. The substitute teacher reports to the school and follows the given schedule for the school day.
