Pinewood follows the tradition we established two years ago, our students, Eleni Karekla, Class of 2022, posted on CNN and Andre Demetriou Vidal, Class of 2020, was interviewed live on CNN International.
Pinewood students join The CNN Freedom Project educating themselves and their peers on the forms of modern slavery, such as Domestic Servitude, Sex Trafficking, Forced Labor, Bonded Labor, Child Labor, and Forced Marriage.
CNN rallies efforts around “The Choices You Make, The Actions You Take”, calling on young people all over the world to take the #MyFreedomDay Pledge – 10 concrete actions they can take to help fight against modern slavery.
On March 16 itself, CNN correspondents will be reporting from schools all over the world engaged in #MyFreedomDay, in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
