Model United Nations Team Competes on February 17-19

The students will spend time in committees where they will be discussing current world issues in an effort to come to some sort of compromise (resolution) on actions necessary to solve each problem.  Students will have a chance to meet others from around Greece and the world, have their voices heard, and get a glimpse at the difficult and demanding work of a UN ambassador.  I recommend that you visit the ACMUN website in order to learn more about the program.  Also on the site is the schedule of events.  Any time you see a “Committee Work” label, you are welcome to stop in and see what MUN is all about.  All of the meetings will be held in Macedonia Hall, and if you plan to visit, please remember to be quiet and courteous.  Good luck to all of our student participants.
